with Anodea Judith
As the architecture of the soul, the chakras describe the underlying psychic structure of of the yoke of yoga, showing how heaven and earth, mind and body, spirit and matter interpenetrate to span the full spectrum of human possibility. As wheels of energy, chakras are like gears that take us on our journey through life. As chambers in the temple of the body, they are centers for the reception, assimilation, and transmission of life force energy. But why is this ancient system so important today and how is it being updated as a map to guide us through the 21st century?
Join Anodea Judith as she shares her knowledge from over 40 years of teaching, writing, and working with the chakra system, bridging the individual and the collective, mortal and divine.
with Ramesh Bjonnes
For centuries, humanity has often taken two paths while living in the world: we have either tried to escape the snares of the world, or we have tried to subdue and exploit the world. The worldview of Tantra offer a refreshing and much needed alternative.
According to Tantric cosmology, our planet emerged from the cosmic embrace of spirit, or Shiva, and matter, or Shakti. Wherever there is Shiva, there is also Shakti, Tantra says. So, whatever we do in this world, therein lies the potential for sacredness, for dynamic, yogic balance. This world is neither a place to escape from, nor a place to exploit. To Tantra, this world, like our own body, is a sacred temple where spirit can reveal itself in the stillness of breath and in the exalted bliss of chant.
If Tantra is our worldview, how will it inform our environmental outlook, our food choices, and our sense of justice? How can our lifestyle become an integral part of our spiritual practice? What will our economy and our culture look like if society’s central vision is spiritual enlightenment?
with Shambhavi Sarasvati
According to direct realization spiritual traditions such as Trika Shaivism and Dzogchen, every manifestation of life and every circumstance is made of wisdom, is primordially auspicious or is perfect from the beginning. What does this mean, and how can we know this for ourselves in the midst of life’s inevitable ups and downs?

with Pandit Rajmani Tigunait
Experiencing the fullness of life is tantra. Tantra enables us to experience this fullness by demolishing the wall that separates our mundane sensory experiences from the spiritual ones. Standing on the firm foundation of unitary consciousness, tantric practices empower us to acquire both bhoga (pleasure), and moksha (liberation) here and now. Tantra accomplishes this impossible-sounding task by integrating the best of the techniques of yoga, ayurveda, alchemy, astrology, herbology, rituals, meditative techniques, and the science of yantras, mandalas, and mantras. This integrated approach to experiencing life’s fullness is the reason why tantra evolved in so many different ways—it is simultaneously a purely meditative spiritual path and ritual-heavy practice leading to lofty spiritual experiences, low-grade magical performances, and a large range of esoteric techniques—some believable, some totally unbelievable. It is in this light, Pandit Tigunait shares his understanding of tantra.
